Back In Action Soon

Horrorfest

So it was a glorious but extremely tiring weekend. I travelled to chilly Salt Lake City and in a twenty-four hour period, I witnessed 5 of 8 Films To Die For (part of that Horror-Fest deal you probably read about in my last blog), watched the Jazz thunder back from a fifteen point deficit in the fourth quarter and pull out an overtime victory against a Steve Nash-less Phoenix Suns, and experienced the re-birth of James Bond in what is the strongest 007 entry in years.

Now, as fate would have it, I've come down with the flu and it's kicking my ass. Just mustering up the energy to write this tiny blog is wiping me out. A bummer considering Thanksgiving is just a couple of days away. I'm hoping to be back on my feet by tomorrow, so watch for various reports here within the next few days. Included, a piece on Horror-Fest: 8 Films to Die For. Too shocking for the general public my ass. I'll be leaving Casino Royale (outstanding) and Babel (good) to contributing writer Tyler Sanders. We should have those up shortly. Also on the horizon, reviews for The Queen (one of the best of the year) and Harsh Times (not one of the best of the year).
