Golden Globe Winners 2007

Golden Globe Winners 2007
Shocked by her best actress loss to Meryl Streep, Beyonce Knowles had a slight melt down, tore off her gown and went all Shakira, until she was wrestled to the ground by Judi Dench.

If this Golden Globes production proved one thing is that it's not always enough to put a whole bunch of famous and pretty people in a room in order to create a magical televised experience. Also if celebrities have become so insecure that they're no longer willing to laugh at one another's jokes they might want to think about adding a laugh track. Warren Beatty . 2 . 3 - Yes Warren I suppose it's hard to be humble when you're married to Annette Bening, but judging from the virtual dead air that followed . 2 . 3 in retrospect you might've have played it safe and mentioned that it's even harder to be humble when you're having a 3-way with Madonna and Sandra Bernhart. Besides you already had the big Bening tear-jerker in your pocket for the big closer. And even that barely went over. Sadly Beatty was the funniest and most entertaining thing about the broadcast. They've gotta be taking notes over at the Oscars - message (screw the PC warm and fuzzies and turn Borat loose.) In any case the evenings winners are listed with asteriks* alongside the other nominees.
