Indiana Jones and the Highly Anticipated Trailer!
"You're right Adam, this is far more important than Star Wars, and I should know."

Holy sh-oogar! Valentine's Day can't come soon enough. Given that it is a day of romance, I do plan on treating my wife like the amazing woman she is, but that will have to wait until after I see--finally!--the trailer for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I guess it's a good thing the trailer debuts early in the morning, otherwise Tonja would be kicking my ass! So this is the deal. The trailer, which Spielberg, Lucas, and crew have wisely kept a lid on, will premiere during Good Morning America on Thursday, Feb. 14th. No word on what time. All that's known is that the trailer will play at some point during the Good Morning America telecast. Then, the highly anticipated spot will be available for download at Yahoo Movies and ndianajones.com. http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1808404510/video/6441610

For those who prefer to wait and see it on the big screen, you will have an opportunity on the same day. The trailer is expected to ship with The Spiderwick Chornicles--which looks pretty damn good. Come to think of it, some markets are actually doing midnight sneaks of Spiderwick Chronicles the night before, which means those lucky audience members will get a look at the trailer even earlier then the rest of us. After months of near agony, it's going to feel pretty damn cool to finally get a glimpse at this thing. I'm incredibly excited for the film but at the same time, I'm a bit nervous. Some might say; "It's just a damn movie dude!" But hardcore fans of the franchise know that it's much more than that. It's an event! Indiana Jones is a huge deal. This may sound like sacrilege to some, but for me Indiana Jones is an even bigger deal than Star Wars. Why? It's hard to express in words. Indiana Jones is just one of those iconic, monumental figures in my subconscious. He's been in my head as long as I can remember. While I'm quite obviously a huge fan of film in general, the Indiana Jones franchise probably edges out all other competition in my repeated viewing library. There is certainly a downside to being this excited about a movie. Expectations can be a bitch and I can only hope that Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull will live up to the hefty expectations. With Spielberg at the helm, I have to believe that this film is going to work. Come Thursday morning, I'm hoping at the very least, this little glimpse--reportedly, the spot is just under two minutes long--will give me something to be even more excited about.
