A big congrats go out today to 20th Century Fox, who have become the first studio to make $1 billion in overseas box-office this year. Hit movies like ICE AGE: THE MELTDOWN and X-MEN: THE LAST STAND contributed to the figure, which is still growing. Note that ICE AGE bagged $440 million of that amount alone, and the X-Men are still kicking ass in theaters around the world. Fox bagged the billion a month earlier than they did in 2005, according to reports in the Hollywood Reporter..
