The Hollywood Reporter reports that Clint Eastwood's daughter, Alison, will make her directorial debut with RAILS AND TIES. The film will be made at Warner Brothers, with Clint producing through his Malpaso company. The film is said to revolve around two families and their physical, emotional and psychological collision. The trade says that the story begins on a beautiful stretch of the California coastline, where a suicidal mother parks her car on a railroad crossing and awaits the arrival of a speeding train with her 9-year-old son in the car.
