The Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin has been killed while shooting a new documentary off the coast of Queensland in Australia. Irwin, who was 44, is said to have been injured in the chest by a stingray barb. Irwin was known around the world for his 'Crocodile Hunter' TV series which spawned a feature film. I enjoyed the man's work and as I had young children who loved his show I watched him quite regularly. It's always nice when children's programming doesn't bore the adults to tears. Steve will be missed and is survived by wife, Terri and two young children, Bindi Sue, eight and Bob, two.
