WHEN GEEKS GO WILD! (2010 Comic-Con)

It finally happened. A stabbing at Comic-Con! No, this isn't a joke. While we were all sitting in Hall H waiting for the big Paul/Cowboys and Aliens panel, there was a loud raucous about thirty rows behind us. Folks started yelling and eventually, the cops showed up. Allegedly, some disgruntled fan took a pen to an unsuspecting geek's face. Why? Would you believe the ordeal was over a seat? That's the word on the street. Of course how this whole incident went down, depends on who you ask. Whatever the case may be, this nutty individual gives geeks a bad name. True, we don't know the whole story, but there's nothing the recipient of that pen could have possibly said to justify what he got. Making matters worse, it wasn't even a good seat. It was near the back of the Hall. The victim has reportedly recovered. As for his pen pal? He was taken out in cuffs. About an hour after the ordeal, Hall H was back to normal and for the duration of the evening, there were plenty of jokes about the unfortunate incident. One in particular, was classic. You'll read about it later.
