Depp in 'I Am Legend'

Here's some great casting news, just ahead of the opening of PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN:
DEAD MAN'S CHEST. Johnny Depp looks like he's going to star opposite Will Smith in I AM LEGEND, according to Black Film. The site reports that Mr. Depp could play Will Smith's neighbor in the film, who turns into a vampire. Depp as a vampire? It's enough to give you an Ed Woody. Set in Los Angeles after a biological war, the film centers on the sole healthy survivor, a man who finds himself in a battle against nocturnal mutants.
