Will Ferrell and his director collaborator Adam McKay have signed a deal with Paramount Pictures to produce movies in the $10-$20 million range. Under the banner Paramount Vantage, Ferrell and McKay will be given the chance to produce movies that they want to which will NOT be starring vehicles for Ferrell himself.
The Hollywood Reporter report that there are two movies cuurently in production under the Vantage banner, the Coen brothers' NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN and Paul Thomas Anderson's THERE WILL BE BLOOD.
The duo's TALLADEGA NIGHTS: THE BALLAD OF RICKY BOBBY is in theaters from August 4th, 2006.
