Tiger Tales?

Angelina Jolie has signed on to voice the character "Tigress" in KUNG FU PANDA, a DreamWorks project featuring Jack Black as the title character. As you may remember the last time Jolie lent her vocal talents to animation it was the flop-fest Shark Tale. Hopefully her sophomore effort avoids the jinx because Kung Fu Panda is loaded with talent joining Black is Lucy Lui, Dustin Hoffman, Jackie Chan and Ian McShane. The scary part is the plot sounds suspiciously like Chris Farley's swan song Beverly Hills Ninja. DreamWorks, had modest success with OVER THE HEDGE earlier this summer, and has SHREK 3 set for 2007 with PANDA slated to break in May 2008. Jolie's commitment to PANDA is her first project since giving birth to Brad Pitt's daughter.
