Kate Moss escapes drug charges

It's hard to imagine such unseemly behavior from such a sweet couple of kids. Breaks your heart.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has announced that British supermodel, Kate Moss will not face charges over allegations she took illegal drugs at a London recording studio last year. The 32-year-old was questioned by police after UK newspaper, The Daily Mirror published photographs of her apparently snorting lines of cocaine with her then boyfriend, Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty. (It has recently been declared illegal to appear in a photograph with Pete Doherty - incidently) BIOJ. Moss fled abroad after the photos appeared and spent time in America where she attended a drug rehabilitation clinic, before returning home to Britain. The drug scandal prompted UK fashion house Burberry and Swedish-based Hennes and Mauritz to cut ties with the supermodel. France's Chanel also announced they would not renew her contract when it expired. However, her career recovered swiftly, with a new contract for camera maker Nikon and Virgin mobile, plus front page appearances for Vogue and Vanity Fair. Moss has never admitted to taking illegal drugs, although issued a statement last year apologising to friends and family for behaviour which "reflected badly" on them. The CPS said it had concluded there was insufficient evidence to convict Moss of any charges. Let's hope for her daughters sake, she has learned a valuable lesson from this and intends to stick to Pepsi in the future. BIOJ
