It looks like Tom Cruise has recommended wife-to-be Katie Holmes to play Posh Spice Victoria Beckham in a new biopic about the footballing legend, and her own husband, David Beckham. Stuff report that Holmes could be in line to play the ex-Spice Girl in a new movie after Cruise put her name forward. "Tom has a brilliant grasp of what the public want to see and thought David's story was wonderful" an insider said over at the website. "A football star emerges from humble origins, there's drama within the matches and romance in his love affair with Victoria at the height of her pop star fame. The quartet have become very close friends and the Beckhams would only be happy about their story being used if Tom and Katie were involved." Well, David Beckham and Tom Cruise are indeed great pals, and it's been said that Beckham recently turned to Cruise after he founf out that he was to be dropped from the England national footballing team.
