Oscar-nominated actress, Keira Knightley has denied she is suffering from eating disorder, anorexia after appearing at the premier of her new film 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest' looking extremely thin. The 21-year-old, in London to promote the film with co-stars Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom, wore a gold Gucci dress
with a plunging neck line that revealed her overly slender frame. But Knightley, who was nominated for best-actress for her role in 'Pride and Prejudice', said she was surprised by any suggestion that she had an eating disorder. "I was asked yesterday, 'How does it feel to be called anorexic?' but I had no idea that I was. I'm not saying there aren't people in the film industry that suffer from it, but I'm quite sure I don't have it."
But she welcomed the discussion stating that it's "good that it's out there and that people are talking about it" and went on to reveal she is well aware of the devastating effects as her family have a history of the illness. "I've got a lot of experience with anorexia - my grandmother and great-grandmother suffered from it and I had a lot of friends at school who suffered from it. I know it's not something to be taken lightly and I don't."
