Leguizamo Armed Again

Leguizamo could use an arm.

John Leguizamo will reunite with Franc Reyes who was the writer-director behind the 2002 sleeper hit Empire. The new project is a crime thriller The Ministers which follows a female cop who suspects her father was killed by a mysterious religious order. When she is taken off the case, she unwittingly hooks up with one of the cult's followers. No word on who will play the avenging heroine. Shooting begins this December in New York. Leguizamo is currently filming Love in the Time of Cholera for director Mike Newell.
