Mad Mel too Old

"So I'm too old huh? I guess I'm Jewish too!"

Director George Miller is planning a long-awaited follow-up to his Mad Max movies - but the action sequel will not include original leading man Mel Gibson, because he's too "old".

Australian Miller directed Gibson as police officer 'Mad' Max Rockatansky living in a post-apocalyptic world in three Mad Max movies in 1979, 1981 and 1985. An angry Gibson countered by pointing out that if he proved anything last year its that he's not too old to be Mad anything.
