Mel Gibson is planning a lengthy trip to Panama for two movie projects. According to sources, the moviemaker is planning a remake of 1950s thriller Panic In The Streets and a new epic about Spanish explorer Vasco Nunez De Balboa, who was the first European to see the Pacific Ocean in the early part of the 16th Century. It's reported that he might combine the two into a third film, a comedy called "Manic in the Streets" about the first man to drive into the Pacific ocean.
