Asstronaut Lance Bass formerly of the boy band N-SPHINC prepares for his mission to probe Uranus. On behalf of the joke-writers of the planet earth we salute you Lance - you make our job so much easier.

Lance Bass, singer with American boy band *N Sync has revealed that het is gay. Bass decided to come of of the closet via US magazine People this week. "The thing is, I'm not ashamed -- that's the one thing I want to say," Bass said. "I don't think it's wrong, I'm not devastated going through this. I'm more liberated and happy than I've been my whole life. I'm just happy." The rest of the band, who've taken an extended break in 2002 are Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez and someone called Justin Timberlake.
