Naomi Watts in The Birds?

Just the thought of all those birds gives her the chills.

Sources say that KING KONG star Naomi Watts has been offered a role in a remake of the
classic Alfred Hitchock movie THE BIRDS. TMZ report that the blonde actress will star in the film, which will be produced by Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes production company. Leslie Dixon (THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR) is writing the screenplay. Platinum Dunes have a variety of other movies in the pipeline, including a remake of the classic 80's movie, THE HITCHER.
