Nic Cage to play Liberace

Liberace or Labia-race. A tight fit or a Cage?

TMZ is reporting that Nicolas Cage is looking to play Liberace in a new biopic. The
script is being written by DATE MOVIE screenwriters based on a script by Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg. Liberace, the flamboyant pianist, died of Aids in 1987. He was named the highest earning performer in Las Vegas and was only dethroned by the King himself, Elvis Presley. At one point, it was rumoured that he was earning in the region of $300,000 a week. Shooting is set to begin as early as October, with Cage already looking for directors for the project. Cick here for the article at TMZ.
