American media star Oprah Winfrey has hit out at claims that she is gay via her own magazine 'O'. Rumours have alleged that the 52 year old television millionaire and friend Gayle King are a couple. Oprah said: "I understand why people think we're gay. There isn't a definition in our culture for this kind of bond between women." Said Winfrey in the magazine. "So I get why people have to label it: 'How can you be this close without it being sexual?' The truth is, if we were gay, we would tell you, because there's nothing wrong with being gay." King added. There's that one cleared up then.
