Our Own James L Cook - the Next Comic Idol?
WE CERTAINLY HOPE SO!! While there are plenty of undiscovered artists out there, you always hope the one you know will make the big leap. For me, James Cook is one of those individuals. I've only known James for a short while, but in that time, he's left a long lasting impression. James put together a poster for a short film I worked on, and he did it in record breaking time. Suffice it to say, his art work blew my mind. In fact, many would argue that his poster was considerably stronger than our little movie. Mr. Cook is a veteran animator. He worked for Disney for several years, but he has plenty of stellar art work he can proudly call his own. Currently, he's in a heated competition at the Comic Idol on line competition, and a win would allow him to share his gift. A handful of us are hoping to aid him in his artistic quest. Jennifer Bennett helped put this really cool contest together in an effort to improve James' chances. We'd like to encourage everyone to click the link, follow the steps, and vote for James. In return, one lucky individual will be the proud recipient of some truly amazing art work. On a final note, you don't have to be a fan of Twilight to appreciate James' undeniable talent. Again, please help this gifted artist by voting. Don't wait, because the deadline is July 1st; http://www.jenniferjbennett.com/2010/06/details-for-twilight-contest.html Add your own comment here and see it posted immediately!
