Out of Cruz Control

Take her down Captain, that's not a friendly request.

Penelope Cruz has denied reports she suffered a panic attack aboard an airplane as it taxied to the runway, forcing pilots to turn the vehicle around.

The star was aboard a Continental Airlines flight from Newark, New Jersey to Barcelona, Spain when the incident occurred on June 28. However, Cruz claims she disembarked the aircraft when informed there would be a three hour delay - and not because she had an anxiety attack.

A spokesperson for Cruz says, "She was screaming with laughter because she was listening to Larry the Cable Guy on her Imac and as for her running back and forth down the aisles, whe was merely getting in come cardio, miss cruz is a nut about fitness."
