Michelle Pfeiffer has been cast in the upcoming HAIRSPRAY musical adaptation, according to Variety. Pfeiffer will play Velma von Tussel, a television producer embittered by her experiences since giving up her crown as a beauty queen, according to the trade. John
Travolta, Queen Latifah and Amanda Bynes are already cast in the movie, which starts shooting this September.
