Here's one we missed from last week. USA Today has published a feature on the upcoming comedy sequel EVAN ALMIGHTY, which is a sequel to the hit film that starred Jim Carrey, BRUCE ALMIGHTY. This one is sans Jim, but we have the awesome Steve Carrell reprising his role as Evan Baxter. The newspaper features a great little set report,
as well as a couple of pics. "In the sequence being shot today, God materializes in a number of guises to persuade newly elected Congressman Evan Baxter (Steve Carell, upgraded to top billing) to build an ark as a modern-day Noah. Freeman is supposed to simply stride across an intersection and point purposefully at Carell, who cowers behind the wheel of a Hummer. Instead, the 69-year-old Oscar winner, in baggy jeans and sideways construction helmet, swaggers through the crosswalk before he grabs his crotch
and strikes a rapper pose."
