Depp claims that it was actually 'Denise' Richards who was his inspiration for Jack Sparrow and doesn't know where the Keith Richards thing came from.

The stars of PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN: DEAD MAN'S CHEST are expected to arrive in the UK today ahead of tonight's huge European premiere of the film. Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are all thought to have jetted in for the premiere of the film which is cinemas around the world from Friday. Johnny Depp reprises his role as Captain Jack Sparrow, a character described by the man himself as a mix of Pepe Le Peu and rocker Keith Richards. Look out for a full review on ZBN by the weekend.
