Joan Rivers has hit out at veteran actress Sophia Loren for denying she has undergone cosmetic surgery. The 73-year-old comedienne confesses she has had extensive work to help her fight the ageing process - and is baffled 72-year-old Loren continues to claim she hasn't done the same.

Rivers told talk show host Michael Parkinson on Saturday, "I hate it when they say, 'I've done nothing.' Sophia Loren, God bless her, allegedly has done nothing. She's been pulled and stretched so much she s#*ts through her ears. And she says to me, 'I've done nothing.' And I'm like, 'You could run a railroad up the back of your head!' They took all the extra parts and made another woman who walks beside her. I see her in her garden walking with like a mini-me."
