Schneider To Do Non-Comedy On Purpose

Juliana and the Medicine Fish an independent children's fantasy being directed by Jeremy Torrie has signed Rob Schneider. In Fish, he will play a father who is trying to save his troubled fishing lodge while saving his relationship with his 12 year-old daughter. She uncovers an ancient secret in the waters near the lodge. The film will be based on the book by Jake MacDonald. Torrie will write the adaption with MacDonald. John Schneider, Rob's brother, will be executive producing. ThinkFilm is the distributing in Canada and production will begin this week in Lake of the Woods, Manitoba, Canada.
