Barbra Streisand will open her European tour in Zurich, Switzerland, after cancelling her previous opening date in Rome, Italy. Streisand was originally set to launch her tour at Rome's Flaminio Stadium on June 15, but pulled the gig last weekend. The Funny Girl star's Rome gig had been met with controversy over the "extortionate" ticket prices, Streisand later remarked, "that's why I moved the opening night concert to Zurich, that way the people who are rich enough to afford tickets to the show will be able to just visit one of the banks where they keep their wealth. It was simply a matter of convenience, but still Switzerland is a pretty place, right?"
