Sundance On the Doorstep!
He feels just like a Kid this time of year.
I love January. If for no other reason than the amazing Sundance Film Festival. This will be my sixteenth year attending the iconic fest, and while its harder than hell to get tickets, its totally worth trying. In terms of premieres, the roster is pretty amazing this year, but its those little gems from newcomers that make Sundance really worthwhile. New to the program for the 2010 festival is a no budget and low budget section. In addition to the usual plethora of premieres, documentaries, short films, and international films, the festival has a great midnight section in store for attendees. Currently, our staff is preparing for the Park City trek. In the next week or two, we'll post a list of noteworthy titles readers might want to seek out. At a glance, I'm looking forward to Frozen, Howl, and Splice. Those titles are but the tip of the ice berg. Wait until you see the line up.
