Tarantino and Rodriguez talk up 'Grind House'

Forget SNAKES ON A PLANE, this is the movie that I'm most looking forward to. GRIND HOUSE
is quite a way off (word is January, 2007), but the rumours keep on coming in. This quote came from the mouth of Robert Rodriguez, who has apparently pretty much finished shooting his half of the movie, titled PLANET TERROR. Quentin Tarantino will write and direct the other half, and faux-trailers will fill in between. From MTV: Speaking about the trailers, Rodriguez said : "I can't say anything about it because those are really surprises. Danny Trejo ['Con Air'] is in one, but there's another one that's huge. People are going to wish that one was the movie." Finally, Rodriguez dropped the bombshell that there is already talk of a "Grind House" sequel, which would bring the fake ads from the first flick to fruition. "If those trailers are great enough," he revealed, "they might be part of the feature we do for the next 'Grind House.'" I'm
there whatever. Tarantino's half of the movie, DEATH PROOF, starts shooting soon, by SIN CITY star Rosario Dawson is said to have joined the cast of the movie. She joins the already cast Zoe Bell and Mickey Rourke.
