Tarantino taps Kurt Russell as Grind House Slasher

"What can I say? I mean it's gonna be the most bitchin sonofabitchin badass thing that ever happened on a movie screen. I'm talkin' about Kurt Russell with a knife goin' Slish slash slunk slooey, I mean how much more cool can you fuckin get man shit!

An animated Quentin Tarantino teased the 6000 people in the huge hall by announcing that the serial slasher to grace his half of Grind House was an actor you may know as Snake Pliskin, the crowd erupted at the news. Russell will play Stuntman Mike, whom according to Tarantino is the "best character I've ever written." Kurt will be joined in Death Proof by Rosario Dawson, Zoe Bell, Marley Shelton, Mary Elisabeth Winstead and Rose McGowan.
