'Thor' to get the big screen treatment!

Call me crazy, but I think I just found the perfect man for the Thor job. If you want a Nordic, Musclebound, Mangod look no further than Ben Stiller, baby.

Plans are afoot to bring THOR to the big screen. David S. Goyer, the man behind the
BLADE series and the writer of BATMAN BEGINS is writing a treatment for the proposed film. Newsarama state that the exciting news was announced at Charlotte's Heroes Convention 2006 last weekend by Marvel's J. Michael Straczynski and Joe Quesada. Asked
about what Marvel movies he’s looking forward to, Quesada said that while he can't wait for Spider-Man 3, he's very excited about Jon Favreau's take on Iron Man, noting how enthusiastic the director is for the film, and how he's looking to work with fans on it. Straczynski noted that it had just been announced that David Goyer is writing a treatment for the Thor movie. The film will be produced by Marvel and distributed by Paramount Pictures. Should have plenty more on this when the Bone and his trusty sidekick the Mast Marauder invade Comicon just a week from today.
