Being a Country star depends alot on what "Country" you're in.

Security staff on the set of Nicole Kidman's new film Australia were left embarrassed this week when they refused country superstar Keith Urban access to his wife - because they didn't recognize him.

Urban was paying the actress a visit on the set in remote Bowen and was spotted pleading with a female security guard when she refused to let him pass a checkpoint without the proper pass.

The Townsville Bulletin reports the guard started to grow tired of Urban's bid to get access to the set and she told the singer to "shove off and get a life."

When word of this outrage reached the ears of wife Nicole, the security guard was secretly given a promotion and a bonus. No word as to whether Urban made it on-set or not.
