American Idol finalist Chris Daughtry and his band had the most popular album of the year, according to Billboard magazine. The band sold 3.2 million copies of their self-titled debut. Akon came in second, selling 2.7 million copies of Konvicted. Fergie's The Dutchess sold 2.4 million copies, coming in third place, followed by the Hannah Montana and Carrie Underwood's Some Hearts.

This is just so wrong on so many levels that I'm speechless.
