Xenon pick up Snoop Dogg's 'Hood'

Xenon Pictures have picked up the Snoop Dogg starrer HOOD OF HORROR, which now looks set to arrive in theaters this coming September. The Hollywood Reporter reports that the film features three blood-soaked tales involving the residents of an inner-city neighborhood whose actions in this life determine their destination in the afterlife. The film features anime sequences created by Madhouse under the supervision of Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor John Gaeta (the Matrix trilogy). Starring in the flick alongside Snoop is Ernie Hudson, Danny Trejo, Method Man, Jason Alexander and Billy Dee Williams.
