Zooey Deschanel (the Boneman's imaginary mistress) will play Janis Joplin in a new movie based on her life. Production Weekly describes the singer as the undisputed queen of sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll. Penelope Spheeris is directing the film, which starts shooting this November in Philadelphia.
