A couple of years back, Disney decided to do a straight-to-video sequel to its hit Toy Story. €However, when Tom Hanks and Tim Allen read the screenplay, they thought it was every bit as good as the original, and convinced Disney to up the ante.

As it turns out, Toy Story 2 is a big winner and offers all the wit and style of the original. €The only thing it is lacking is the initial spark of something new. €The first time I saw Toy Story it blew me away with it's new style of animation. Since, we've seen Bug's Life and Antz.

Where Toy Story 2 really succeeds is with a story that is every bit as enchanting and entertaining as the first.

This time out, Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks) is stolen by a toy collector. Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen) and the gang attempt to rescue him in this fast paced comedy that offers great chase scenes and some hilarious references to Star Wars.

Director John Lasseter and crew have really outdone themselves in creating a film that will entertain children as well as adults. Toy Story 2 is an inventive, fun-filled roller coaster ride for the whole family.
