For many, this will be a long-awaited dream come true. The Beastie Boys have been releasing some of the most influential music of this generation for over ten years. Finally, they have compiled a collection of their best music on one album. If you already own the Beastie Boys releases, this album will still hold some interest for you. There are a couple of new tracks and previously unreleased versions of earlier songs. It covers their entire history and they only missed a couple of songs that should have been on a greatest hits release; but, I am not complaining. This set is two discs long, and if they covered all of their really good material, it would probably be three or four discs long. If you do not own any of the B-Boys releases, Check Your Head, and give this one a spin, it is great and very comprehensive.
