A rare b-side, "Not Fire, Not Ice," is included as a teaser for Harper's cult following. The first disc consists of electric songs done with the Innocent Criminals. The relentless power of Harper's guitar is nicely captured on tracks like "Ground On Down" and the 9-minute version of "Forgiven." His alluring vocals in "The Woman In You" range from a melodic falsetto to emotional screams.
Disc two is comprised simply of solo acoustic performances by Harper, full of emotion and religious romanticism. The most memorable are stripped down versions of "Please Bleed" and "Roses From My Friends." Not to mention the last song which is a blend of "Like a King" and "I'll Rise." These songs resound with the keen political consciousness that is at the heart of his music.
