Here's some more meddling metal to torment your neighbor's dog with from the
cold, dark chambers of the Victory Band underworld. The epic battle
between good and evil known as Villainy and Virtue is like an extended violent paroxysm of rage. Full of standard-issue riffing, drumming, and lyrics about personal
doubt and downfall. Dead To Fall, however discusses the possibility of accomplishment and even lyrical instructions as to how to accomplish accomplishments). If this sounds like the remarks of a smartass, I'm sorry, but that's how I feel.

Villainy and Virtue has its moments, but there is really nothing new here. I
thought it would be groundbreaking rebar and metal fabrication, but in all
actuality it was like biting into a Hot Pocket only to find that the
middle is still a frozen, slushy mess. Good job on the excellent cover art
though; this is where I got the good versus evil idea, even though it's not nearly as well-expressed in the songwriting.

The powerful growls from singer Jonathan Hunt reminds me of the time I
stuck my head in front of a firehouse. Evan Kaplan's drum playing has the
brutal assault, pounding, and double bass kicks of the Rodney King
beating. Ouch I hope I didn't offend any wussies out there. After all I am
talking about metal mania not U2's new album--so suck it up and be a man. I
bet hardcore metal dogs will dig this even though it is on the bland side.
It trails after Asshole Parade, Adumantium, and just for fun let's say
Cannibal Corpse for bonus points. With deep heavy vocals rather than
screaming action. Go buy the album put your speakers in your window, crank
the volume up and depreciate the value of your neighbor's house. It's is the perfect
soundtrack for "there goes the neighborhood.
