I've been hearing about this one forever. It came out across the pond over a year ago and it was the toast of many a foreign trade rag. Ed Harcourt was mentioned almost interchangeably with names like Pete Yorn, Matthew Jay, Andrew Bird and Rufus Wainwright. All quite accurate comparisons. You might also toss in a dash of Jeff Buckley.

The music is awash in the kind of warm, lazy comfort that typifies the overall sound of Coldplay's Parachutes. A saddish tone that is well suited for a drive on a cloudy day--or a curl up with a book couple of hours. Personal and somber and one that you'd really like if you like any of these fine folks listed above.
