Never has the name Ben Watt and Tracy Thorne chose for their band been more appropriate than on Temperamental. Thorne has one of the most beloved voices in the biz and she's all but missing in action on this latest release. She drones along with these tepid toe-tappers like she's ready to doze off, and the record sounds like dance-mix out-takes from their last album Walking Wounded. Maybe I'm just spoiled after Moby's masterpiece, but I could've made a better record than Temperamental with Cher, a Casio, and a case of beer.
