From the "where the hell did this come from file" emerges the new U.K. trip hop group Faultline. This new group (actually it's just one person) had zero buzz out of the gate from British or American labels, which is shocking when looking at the lineup of guest stars. Wayne Coyne from Flaming Lips lends his vocals to "Colossal Grey Sunshine," a great little floating number. And Michael Stipe from R.E.M. sings on the frail and lovely track "Greenfields." But the best vocals come from Chris Martin of Coldplay on the closing track "Your Love Means Everything Part 2." People who call Chris Martin an Echo & the Bunnymen hack need to look no further than the layout of his vocals on this track to realize that the statement is a load of crap. Faultline also prove on tracks like "Clocks," they can also bring the goods without any help from their celebrated friends.
