Fuck the rules - let's dance bitch! What do you get when you combine Inspector Gadget beats with the energy from the Dance Revolution gameĀ…Giles!!! Between the Buried and Me frontman Thomas Giles Rogers, Jr. set off to create something different when he wasn't screaming his ass off amid the ferocity of BTBAM. This concept of metal dudes doing electronica projects isn't anything new. Glassjaw's Darryl Palumbo formed Head Automatica with Dan the Automator. Coheed and Cambria's drummer, Joshua Eppard, started Weerd Science, although more of a hip hop outfit than techno. I don't see a real connction between the two music types but whatever.

This stuff is pretty damn fun. Take the song "Slumber Party' for example, "You can't dance, fuck, dance without getting tired/ You can't eat your shit/ Little kitty it's time to be naughty, hop scotch to the closet of raunchy. Shake your ass!!!" Wow, that makes a lot of sense. Giles' saving grace iis it's breif runnning time (twenty minutes total) or this shit would really get old. Giles is nothing special, just fun music - total smart-ass electronica.
