The opening single "Suburban Knights" from this filmic titled opus basically sums up Hard Fi's sound and mission statement. British pop from The Clash and Oasis, owing dues to both terms of style, production and subject matter. "I Shall Overcome" is typical of this band's lyrics, the working class Brit more or less coming to terms with his situation as opposed to the Clash's "Career Opportunities" which railed against the British system. A theme they visited earlier in their career on the Living For the Weekend album. "Tonight" is cut from a similar cloth as the opening single, an anthemic chorous set to a glossy production.

Not quite as challenging or engaging as their first disc, this album succeeds in terms of its pop friendly songcraft and vocals - though they should definitley expand upon the musical styles that they emulate.
