Aside from being one of the most entertaining personalities I've ever seen, Connick Jr. is also one hell of a musician. After taking a break from the big band sound on his earlier albums, he has returned to it once again and in the most grand manner yet.

Come By Me is perhaps Connick's most personal Big-Band album yet. Among the many timeless standards he interprets, this album contains his rendition of "Danny Boy," which he hasn't sung since his starring role in the film Memphis Belle. This track alone makes the CD a wonderful buy. Along with that, there are also songs from Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, George Gershwin, and some originals by Harry himself.

All in all, this album is probably Harry's best Big-Band album (the second being We Are In Love). Every song is performed wonderfully and of course, I can't end without mentioning Harry's ultra-smooth crooning voice. How sweet it is!
