It's only appropriate that Judas Priest release a new album in the wake of the movie Rockstar, which is inspired by singer Ripper Owens rise to fame as the replacement for Rob Halford. While I have all the respect in the world for Judas Priest this is by far the worst album I've yet to hear from them. The upside of this record is Glenn Tipton's vicious guitar work, but this album lacks the intensity that made Jugulator's blood flow.
Semi noteworthy songs include "Hell Is Home," "Lost And Found" and "Metal Messiah," but without Halford's vision JP almost sound like Spinal Tap. I hate to be the one to give them the Judas kiss-off, and to be fair, Demolition has enough moments to perhaps appeal to die-hard faithfuls, but they'd be better off walking past this weak rehash and heading straight for Adema's new one.
