The latest release by this all-girl sensation flows more like water than Electric Honey. Smooth Hip-Hop beats and sensuous vocals make this album great for kicking back and just enjoying the summer. These grooves not only move your feet--they move your soul. But as you pay closer attention, you notice that something is definitely missing.

After the girls released their CD, Fever In, Fever Out, their keyboardist decided to go her own direction. Rather than replace her, LJ decided to continue as a trio. The loss plays heavily on the quality of Electric Honey. The funk-style groove we're accustomed to hearing from the ladies just isn't the same without the smooth melodies of the keyboard.

Overall, this CD is still worthwhile. If you just want to relax and enjoy some quality evening flow, check out "Gypsy" or "Sexy Hypnotist." Luscious Jackson can still lay down some mesmerizing sounds.
