If there's such a thing for a band like this to play it safe, NFG have definitely colored inside the lines with Sticks and Stones. NFG marches to the same tune as Blink 182 and Jimmy Eats World, and though they can play their instruments and sound just as good at times, they're a few notches below Blink and Jimmy. Which is not to say that this isn't a record to be reckoned with it--has alot of good moments, but it seems like their version of pop-punk is made from fabric that you can see through, and singer Jordan Punkik can get a little too precious at times.
