The blessed day has arrived! Oasis has many, many great B-sides and they have finally decided to release these treasures upon the North American continent. The sad part being that this is not a complete B-sides collection. However, I still thank them for what they've offered.

If you haven't figured it out, this disc is not new material--just songs that are previously unreleased in the United States. But it still is a testament to the ingenious pop craftsmanship of this British quintet. The first track, "Acquiesce," is probably the best choice to start out any album. The third track, "Talk Tonight," is one of the best Oasis songs ever. This song truly reveals the real brains and talent behind the band, Noel Gallagher. It also includes several live performances, including a fantastic cover of "I Am The Walrus." The last track entitled "The Masterplan," apparently is one of their biggest hits in the UK, and is a fitting way to end this barrage of Brit pop.

I guess I am a little biased to review this album, considering I am a huge Oasis fan. If you are not a fan, you will probably not like this album and you should disregard this write-up. I would call this one of the year's best albums, but since it is not new material, I don't know that the title is applicable. But in this season of thanks, I am more than grateful for this bounteous collection.
